It's a similar type of format to Spoonflower but where the artist receives a commission for every sale of their work. There's so much to choose from with their easy user friendly search feature, a range of sizes, options for framing and you can even have fun playing around with an online gallery wall creator. I'll have to see if I can manage to tag all the artists I've put together in this grouping.

It was such a beautiful day with a teaser that Spring might be here to stay that I felt inspired to have a go at my first Cyanotype.

We have some stunning forsythia in bloom right now, it’s always the first colour to appear so I thought it’d be the perfect subject to experiment with.

I carefully laid out a few branches and let them sit for 15 minutes in the lovely warm sunshine. (Thankfully the busy chipmunk we have stocking up from our bird feeder didn’t disturb them.)

Once the time was up the fabric had changed to a bronze colour. It was then time to give it a thorough wash in cold water and hang to dry.

The result is so pretty and I can see this could become a very addictive process. There are so many more things to play with!

A site visit today to catch up on the latest stage A site visit today to catch up on the latest stage of this project. This architecturally interesting period home is full of eclectic and characterful pieces, a true reflection of the home owners and their family.

We gave a new lease of life to both the sofa and this pretty accent chair. The 25 yr old sofa has such a good solid frame but was in need of new cushions and slip covers. The chair just needed a little TLC to the seat padding and a fresh new fabric to complement the sofa update.
